CLUB SHOW Details of date etc to be confirmed. Avon Bonsai Club Spring Show at Horticultural Society Hall (with the Orchid Society)
November	7th	Club Night	FEATURE - Work on members' own trees and Market Night. TREE OF THE MONTH - INFORMAL UPRIGHT
December	5th	Club Night	FEATURE -  T.B.A. "TREE OF THE YEAR" - Your best bonsai (Competing for the "Joy's Bonsai" Trophy) Presentation of "VANZ CUP" and “Novice Trophy” (for this year's winners of the Tree of the Month Competitions).

There will be 3 sections at each meeting:

1. OPEN - Any Bonsai of the Nominated style. Trees must be in a bonsai pot. To be judged by member’s vote.
2. Novice - Member whose membership is 5 years or less, any Bonsai of the nominated style. Trees must be in a bonsai pot. To be judged by member’s vote.
3. “DISPLAY ONLY” Class. Any other bonsai with some special feature ( eg at it’s best, in flower, or showing a special technique etc) that you would like to show to the members.
4. N.B. Up to 2 entries per class, per person, for each meeting.

NOTE:

There will be a special area set aside this year at all meetings for members to bring trees to work on. There will be Club members available to give help or advice if needed.

 Market & Trading Nights

Bring along any Bonsai / Gardening-related items for sale, or swap items directly with other club members.
